Data storage company upgrades future

Problem

Although successful, the company was looking to increase sales with an up-to-date, flexible website to actively market its products. The previous website no longer met its growing needs as the software was not user friendly, and design change was a complex, time-consuming issue. Standing still was not an option; moving forward into the future was.

Stuart Humphrey, Sales Director for ImageStore, knew it was essential to establish an updated site to create an efficient e-commerce facility for the company’s existing client base and to attract new business. Establishing a professional, working site where ‘customers could confidently buy online’ was a key requirement for ImageStore. Stuart consulted IRUN Newbury, an internet marketing specialist, to find forward-thinking, cost effective solutions.

Solution

Karen Chapple of IRUN Newbury recommended the WebBuildPRO package, which allows the client to update and maintain the site regularly, without requiring specialist technical skills. Karen built the site for ImageStore and arranged for its content to be written by IRUN’s professional copywriters.

Result

As the new website has been recently launched, the online sales have yet to be developed. Stuart Humphrey, with help from Karen, is therefore looking at ways to effectively manage the site, increase sales, and attract new potential clients. Karen Chapple is working on generating awareness of ImageStore’s website, using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), a newsletter campaign, and a pay per click initiative. ImageStore has also been offered free webinars to develop in-house knowledge of website management.

Although the site is still work in progress, Stuart Humphrey acknowledges the website is the foundation for future internet marketing. He unreservedly recommends IRUN’s services.
