Google Launches new service

For all of Googles registered users there is a new tool available that will enhance your experience of the search engine results page. Google have launched a new service called the Google Searchwiki.

What is it and what does it mean?

If you sign into your Google account (create a Google account here) and conduct a search on their search engine you can basically pick and chose the results that you see. You can drag your favourite websites to the top of your list, get rid of the ones that aren't relevant to you, and even input the websites that you'd like to be there but simply aren't. You can add useful comments to websites (which other users can see) and also other users can see how many sites have been 'promoted' or indeed 'demoted'.

This is going to vastly change how users use the Google search engine - don't underestimate its impact!

e-marketing why should you use it?

 

Did you know that 68% of  people that leave your business and move to another supplier is simply because - You've stopped talking to them!

They perceive that you don't care (of course you do but sometimes there is only 24 hours in a day!!) If you can't always pick up the phone to talk to your clients then one very easy way to stay in touch, in a cost effective manner is by using email. As long as you're giving your clients topical information that might make their lives a little easier then they'll remember you with fondness and will remember why they used your company in the first place.
