Lemon Tree Italian Restaurant and Hotel, Wrexham
The Situation
Following an extensive renovation project, The Lemon Tree Italian Restaurant, Bar and Hotel in Wrexham, North Wales needed some assistance with promoting their new look to the outside world in a cost effective and structured manner.
The Lemon Tree faced the same marketing ‘challenges’ as others in the industry. They collected contact information from most guests but did not always communicate effectively.
The Lemon Tree had existing suppliers in place but were let down at the last minute and were desperate to find someone who understood their challenges, and could pick up and deliver a solution in time for their re-launch.
The Objective
To increase awareness of their post-renovation launch, attract new custom and ensure that existing customers returned time and time again. Their website and other marketing collateral needed to be bought in line with their new branding and they wanted the website to be found on search engines like Google to attract new customers. In addition the new website needed to be able to be regularly updated with fresh information and special offers.
Action Taken
Put in place tools and systems to collect contact information from customers and start to communicate in a consistent and systematic manner. Their new content managed website www.lemon-tree-hotel-wrexham.com was created in line with their new branding and optimised for the keywords and phrases that their customers would be using when using search engines. The website included lots of new ideas to attract customers back to their site and their facilities time and again. New printed collateral was designed and produced in record time to ensure that it was in place on the day of their re-launch.
The Outcome
The launch of the new look Lemon Tree was a great success with everything in place in time and within budget. The Lemon Tree now has the facility to communicate regularly with their client database which means special offers, new menus and new incentives are marketed in a timely and efficient manner.
New content is added to the website on a regular basis so that it is constantly offering up to date information for visitors. Such is the appeal of the website that Endemol, the television company producing the Gok Wan “Gok’s Fashion Fix” programme chose The Lemon Tree as a venue to film a follow up episode after Gok had previously created a makeover on a Wrexham lady. They were looking for a venue that was “stylish and sophisticated” and, after finding the Lemon Tree website decided that The Lemon Tree fitted the bill!
